We are confident that you will be happy with the quality and craftsmanship of our products. However, in the rare circumstances of an item being faulty, damaged or not fit for purpose, orders can be returned to us for a full refund.
We do not accept returns for items if the reason for return is change of mind, but are happy to exchange or refund items which have been faulty.
Items must be returned in a new and unused condition and in the original packaging with all tags attached within one week of receipt. Returns that are deliberately damaged, marked or altered will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
The order can be exchanged for alternative items, or for a credit note which can be used to order with The Italian Closet on another occasion. The Italian Closet also reserves the right to refuse any returns that do not follow our returns procedure, as detailed in the How To Return Items section.
Return of perfect items will incur a 15% restocking fee. Items deemed as perfect are at the discretion of The Italian Closet.
How To Return Items
Returned items must be lodged by email in order for customers to receive a refund. Customers are to include pictures and details as to why the items are being returned.
In order to process your return, The Italian Closet must receive your return request within 7 days of the customer receiving items. The customer has 7 days from the order’s delivery date to return items to us in order to receive a refund. Items received outside this period will not be accepted and no refunds can be issued. Once a refund request has been received by the Italian Closet, we will send you an email with the RMA number to authorise the return. Please then print out a copy of this email and include it with your return.
Cost of Return
Returns must be shipped back to us with a tracking number. In the circumstance of the return of a faulty Item – the Italian Closet will credit return postage to the customers’ account.
We recommend Australian customers to send returns by Red Australian Post Satchels with signature on delivery with insurance or use a recognised courier with tracking number. If required we suggest using an express service to ensure your item is received within the accepted time-frame.
For our international customers, we request that you send your return via an insured, traceable method, marking your package clearly as Returned Goods to avoid delays at Customs. Return postage from outside Australia is payable by the sender.
Shipping charges or any related expenses (customs fees, duties etc) of the original delivery cannot be refunded.
